The Summer Collection for the Support of the Priests of the Parish will be taken up this week-end 16th /17th June.
The Jack & Jill Community playgroup will represent County Roscommon in hosting a “National Play Day” for the County. This is to promote Traditional Irish games, Songs & Rhymes. It will be held on Sunday 24th June from 3pm-6pm in Donnellan’s yard, Ballinlough. There will also be a balloon race, wheel of fortune, teddy race etc. Prizes and activities for adults and children. Please support.

Sincere thanks to all the people who took part in the Corpus Christi procession on Sunday last in Ballinlough and Granlahan churches, to the many people who helped out and to those who erected Alters to honour The Blessed Sacrament, thanks to our First Holy Communion children, to their parents and teachers.

We wish all our pupils God’s Blessing on themselves and their families as they finish 6th class and start in their new schools in September.

Grand-Parents pilgrimage to Knock takes place in Knock 22nd September. Over 3000 Grand-Parents are expected to attend.

Hospice Meeting in O’Connors at 9pm Tuesday 19th June. New members welcome.

Ballinlough/Granlahan Community Committees are holding a social to raise funds for new Community Initiatives. The social takes place in The Lake O’Flynn lounge, Ballinlough, on Bonfire Night Saturday 23rd June @ 9.30pm. Tickets €5, also available at door. Come along and enjoy the night together as a community. We look forward to your support.

Cloonfad / Mozamba Partnership would like to sincerely thank all the walkers and all those who sponsored the walkers, on the recent, very successful sponsored walk for the above project, which took place on Bank Holiday Monday May 7th. The final figure amounted to €7,359.
