Kiltegan Fathers: You can support the missionary works of the Kiltegan Fathers by enrolling in Mission Circle and/or subscribing to “Africa” magazine, see envelopes at church doors.

Summer Collection for Priests of the Parish will be taken up this week-end.

Ballinlough/Granlahan Community Development Council are hosting a Street Carnival 5th July. The aim of the Carnival is to showcase the talents of people around the area. If you wish to participate in the Carnival please contact Barbara 094 96 40936.

Connemarathon April 6th 2008: Margaret McGuire & Teresa Hebron thank all the people who sponsored their half marathon, 13.1 miles from Leenane to Maam Cross. We thank especially the people of Granlahan, for the welcome, kindness & generosity extended to us at your doors. The total amount raised was €3,020. All the proceeds went to the Cloonfad Mazamba Partnership. Thank you all very much.

Co. Roscommon Association Supporting People with Special Needs, Kiltullagh Branch, will hold the annual 24 hour Sponsored fast in Granlahan 28th /29th June 2008. If anyone would like to take part in the fast. Please contact any branch member.

A meeting of the Day Care Volunteers will be held on Monday 23rd June @ 9pm, to discuss plans for the Summer Festival.

Fr. Eamon Ayleward, (SSCC) & Fr. Willie Stack, Kiltegan Fathers, both of whom visited the Parish over the past two weeks have written to express their sincere gratitude for the hospitality & generosity shown to them during their visits.

Granlahan Sports Committee are holding a meeting Tuesday 24th @ 9.30 in the Community Centre, to arrange the upcoming sports day. Support for this event would be greatly appreciated.
