As a result of the Tuam Diocesan Assembly which took place some time ago – a Tuam Diocesan Youth Council has been formed. The following is it’s Mission Statement :
” Tuam Diocesan Youth Council is inspired by Jesus’ special love of and care for young people. It seeks to help young people to live as followers of Jesus and to take an active role in the life and ministry of our Church. Tuam Diocesan Youth Council endeavours to ensure that all young people from our diocese are offered opportunities to experience, live, explore and celebrate their faith in challenging and meaningful ways. It does this by supporting and resourcing faith centred events at parish and diocesan level.”
