The new schedule of mass times will commence on 1^st April, 2010 as follows:-   Granlahan 8pm Saturday.  Cloonfad 10.30am  Sunday.Ballinlough 12 noon Sunday.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of John Fitzgerald, London formerly of Grange who died recently.

A lay helper of the Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver will be in this parish on 13/14 March to appeal on behalf of the missions.  Mary will tell us about the work of the Sisters and will be grateful for your support.

Diocesan SafeguardingChildren policy

The revised Diocesan SafeguardingChildren policy is now complete and will be launched at seven centres throughout the diocese over the coming weeks.  Each parish and church area is asked to ensure that at least six people attend this launch and introductory presentation.  This number should include four members from the Parish Pastoral Council and anyone who has contact with children in a church setting e.g. sacristan, choir mistress, good news club and the parish representative.  This meeting and launch will take place Wed 10^th March 8-9.30pm in Knock House Hotel.

The Jack & Jill Community playgroup have been shortlisted for a prize in the AIB Better Ireland Awards. The next step is a public text or online vote, from 15/2/10 until 15/3/10, whereby the community decide how the €10,000 prize fund will be shared among the 3 shortlisted groups. All Ireland Talent Show .

On Sunday, March 7th, Olwyn Murray, a Leaving Certificate student in Ballyhaunis Community School will be representing the West of Ireland on the “All Ireland Talent Show”. The show will be broadcast on RTE 1 at 6.30pm. Voting will take place between 7.30pm and 8.30pm. Please vote for Olwyn and help bring an All Ireland title to the West. Thank you.
