I wish all our parishioners a happy and blessed Easter, may the joy of the risen Lord be with you. I welcome home all the people who have returned to spend Easter with us. I hope you and your families and friends enjoy this season. Times of ceremonies are:- Holy Thursday 8pm Ballinlough, and Cloonfad. Holy Thursday 9pm Granlahan.
Good Friday 2.15pm Cloonfad, cross is carried from cemetery to Cloonfad Church for Good Friday ceremonies at 3pm. Good Friday 3pm Stations of the Cross, Granlahan with adoration of the cross and Holy Communion is distributed. Good Friday 8pm Ballinlough, Good Friday ceremonies.
Holy Saturday night 8pm Granlahan. Easter ceremonies.
Easter Sunday 10.30am Cloonfad, Blessing of Easter Water. Paschal candle is put in place and blessed.  Easter Sunday 12 noon. Ballinlough, blessing of Easter water, Paschal candle is put in place and blessed.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Josephine Cullen, Ballymote, Co. Sligo, sister of Angela Keaveney, Ballybane and also for the repose of the soul of Mary Ruttledge, Kilcormac, sister of the late Séan Lyons, Granlahan who died recently. May their souls rest in peace.
I will visit the sick for Easter on Wednesday 16th April – Ballinlough 10.30am, Granlahan 11am and Cloonfad 2.30pm. Please let me know if there are people who would like me to call to them at Easter.
The priests collection for the support of the priest of the parish will be taken up Holy Saturday night and Easter Sunday morning.
The recent IHCPT church gate collection in Granlahan raised €254.21. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Active Retirement Meeting on Tuesday 15th April in Granlahan Community Centre at 12 noon. All members welcome.
Ballinlough / Granlahan Defibrillator Group will hold a fun walk on Easter Monday April 21st commencing at the church Granlahan at 3pm and ending at the Time Out Cafe, Ballinlough where refreshments will be served.  Everyone welcome.
Ballinlough / Granlahan Defibrillator Group will hold a Church Gate Collection over Easter weekend  19th/20th April to raise much needed funds for the continuation of the project. We appreciate all donations gratefully.
